Kiongozi wa upinzani nchini Rwanda Victoire Ingabire amehukumiwa miaka minane gerezani baada ya kupatikana na hatia ya kosa la uhaini

Viongozi wa mashtaka walitaka afungwe maisha jela kwa kutishia usalama wa nchi.
Mahakama imempata na hatia ya kupuuza mauaji ya Kimbari yaliyotokea mwaka 1994.
Ingabire hakuwa mahakamani wakati hukumu ilipotolewa dhidi yake kwani amekuwa akisusia kuhudhuria vikao vya kusikilizwa kwa kesi hiyo akisema imeshinikizwa ksiasa,.
Mwandishi wa BBC mjini Kigali, Prudent Nsengiyumva, anasema kuwa wakili wake, naibu kiongozi wa UDF, na baadhi ya wafuasi wake, walikuwa mahakamani.
Walishangazwa sana na hukumu ya mahakama wakisema walitarajia angepata hukumu ya maisha jela.
Pia alikuwa anakabiliwa na tuhuma za ugaidi lakini baadaye mahakama ilifutilia mbali wakati kesi yake ilipokuwa inaendelea kwa miaka mwili.
Ingabire ana siku thelathini kukata rufaa. Kiongozi huyo wa chama cha UDF, alikamatwa mwezi Aprili mwaka 2010 na alizuiwa kushuriki uchaguzi baadaye mwaka huo.
Bi Ingabire, ambaye ni mhutu, alirejea kutoka uhamishoni nchini Uholanzi, mwezi Januari mwaka 2010 na amekuwa gerezani tangu kukamatwa kwake.
Amekuwa akihoji kwa nini kumbukumbu za mauaji ya Kimbari ya mwaka 1994 hayajumuishi wahutu.
Zaidi ya watu waliofariki wakati wa mauaji hayo walikuwa watutsi lakini pia wahutu wenye msimamo wa kadri waliuawa na wahutu wenye msimamo mkali.

MKUTANO KUHUSU MALENGO YA MILENIA LONDON

Mkutano unafanyika leo mjini London kujadili mkakati mpya wa utakaotumika baada ya ule wa malengo ya milenia.
Malengo hayo yaliwekwa mwaka elfu mbili kuimarisha maisha ya watu katika nchi maskini na walitumai kuwa yangefikiwa mwishoni mwa mwaka 2015.
Aidha malengo hayo yananuia kukabiliana na maswala kama viwango vya umaskini, magonjwa , njaa na ukosefu wa elimu lakini mafanikio yamekuwa kidogo sana ikilinganishwa na matumaini ambayo watu walikuwa nayo.
Waziri mkuu wa Uingereza, David Cameron, anafanya mazungumzo na Rais Ellen Johnson Sirleaf wa Liberia na Rais Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono wa Indonesia, wenyekiti watatu wa jopo la umoja wa mataifa litakalopewa jukumu la kuweka mkakati mwingine mwaka 2015 kwa sababu ya malengo ya milenia.
Mwandishi wa BBC anasema kuwa wale wanaohudhuria mkutano wa London watahitaji kutafakari ikiwa swala la malengo ya kupata misaada ni wazo la kizamani liliopitwa na wakti.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

Handle incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with current policy and directive. Produce copies and printing work for the Embassy.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
35%
Assists in the preparation, documentation and dispatch of all outgoing air pouches. Incumbent will be required to drive to dispatch and collect mail from airport and post office.

35%
Clears incoming air and surface pouches through customs, assists in the opening, controlling registered items, distribution of contents and file airway bills, invoices and pouch invoices. Sorts incoming mail and registered items and performs security inspections.

20%
Operates duplicating machine, routes and distributes the end product. Send/receive and document faxes.

10%
Periodically assist in the reproduction room and receptionist role.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1.    Education: Completion of Secondary school (form IV) required.
2.    Prior experience: One year of mail handling document reproduction and company switchboard experience required.
3.    Post Entry Training: Three months on the job training.
4.    Language proficiency: Level III (good working knowledge) in English and level IV in Kiswahili (speaking, reading and writing) is required.
5.    Knowledge: A good working knowledge of agency mail and file systems and procedures is required. Knowledge of local and U.S. postal regulations desirable. Good working knowledge of operating various types of photocopying machines.
6.    Skills and Abilities: Basic Computer Skills and drivers license class "C" required.


SELECTION PROCESS
